Screen kits versus a long roll
Compare useful material and total purchase cost, then check the rest of the supplies.
A longer roll can reduce short remnants
Three 35 × 55 inch blanks each need their own 36 × 84 inch short roll. The same three pieces use 165 inches of a 36 × 300 inch roll. The longer roll may be convenient, but which purchase costs less depends on the prices you enter.
Enter current prices
Use the price for one roll or one kit in the selected size. The tool multiplies it by the number required. The result excludes tax, shipping, spline and tools. When some prices are blank, the lowest-cost label applies only to the options with prices supplied.
Check package contents separately
A kit may include spline and a roller, while a mesh-only roll may not. Confirm the current package rather than assuming every size has identical contents. Enough mesh does not automatically mean enough spline.
